Royal Canin Mini Starter Mother & Babydog is a complete food for small breed bitches (up to 10 kg) and their puppies.
- Bitches at the end of pregnancy and during lactation
- Puppies from weaning to 2 months of age
To support the bitch during this demanding period, the food contains an optimal balance of energy and nutrients that help maintain her health and milk production. At the same time, the puppies get a nutritious start in life with essential vitamins, such as C and E, which strengthen the immune system and contribute to a good defense against external influences.
The food is also enriched with the omega-3 fatty acid DHA, which is known to support brain and cognitive development in young puppies. To promote healthy digestion, the food contains easily digestible proteins as well as prebiotics (MOS) that contribute to a balanced intestinal flora and good gastrointestinal health.
The small kibbles are specially designed to be easy to chew, but can also be soaked in water to form a tasty porridge that makes the transition from mother's milk to solid food easier for puppies. This ensures a gentle and natural weaning.
When your puppy reaches 8 weeks of age, it is recommended to switch to Royal Canin Mini Puppy , a food tailored to meet your puppy's needs during the next growth phase.
