Feline HA St/Ox Hypoallergenic is a complete dietetic food (complete diet) for the nutritional treatment of food allergies in both cats and kittens.
Some cats suffer from food allergies, which can cause skin problems and/or digestive problems. Feline HA St/Ox Hypoallergenic is made with proteins that have been broken down (hydrolyzed) into very small components that are unlikely to cause an allergic reaction, and a pure carbohydrate source. A hydrolyzed diet is considered suitable during an elimination trial to diagnose (or rule out) food allergies. If a food allergy is suspected, it is recommended to feed Feline HA St/Ox Hypoallergenic without any acclimatization period. During this trial period, the cat should be fed only Feline HA St/Ox Hypoallergenic for 8-10 weeks and only drink water. Canine HA Hypoallergenic is also suitable for cats with serious intestinal diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), as it is formulated with selected protein sources and is highly digestible. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use, and before extending the period of use.
NB! Veterinary Diets are only used in consultation with a veterinarian.
