Active ingredients:

Microencapsulated probiotics (Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus reuteri): The microencapsulation strengthens the lactobacilli's effect in the gastrointestinal tract and supports the intestinal flora.

The science behind Linkskin:

As much as 70% of the immune system resides in the gut. Research shows a clear connection between gut health and skin health - the so-called "gut-skin connection". Studies have shown that dogs with atopic dermatitis have a lower diversity of bacteria in both the gut and skin, which results in an increased prevalence of disease-causing bacteria such as Staphylococcus pseudintermedius.
