Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET c/d Multicare + Metabolic dog food is a complete dietetic food for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence, dissolution of struvite stones, reduction of oxalate stone formation, and for the reduction of excess body weight in adult dogs. This food has low energy density, urine undersaturation properties for struvite, urine alkalinizing properties, and low levels of magnesium, calcium, and vitamin D.
Even a little extra weight can affect your dog's quality of life and their relationships with family members as the extra weight can reduce playtime, affect mobility and negatively impact your dog's overall lifelong health. Maintaining your dog's ideal weight can improve their life expectancy as it reduces the risk of weight-related conditions.
Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians developed Prescription Diet c/d Multicare + Metabolic clinical nutrition to help manage your dog's urinary tract health and weight. In fact, c/d Multicare + Metabolic nutrition is specifically formulated to reduce the risk of calcium oxalate and struvite stone formation AND is clinically proven to reduce body weight.
