Triple combination
Triple combination combined in one formula that strengthens and supports your dog's or cat's intestinal balance.
1️⃣ Probiotics – restores good intestinal bacteria.
2️⃣ Prebiotics (Bio-Mos-C) - nourishes good bacteria.
3️⃣ Mineral clay – removes harmful bacteria.
Probiotics
Probiotics include a variety of microorganisms, primarily lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria, which are attributed with health-promoting properties. Probiotic bacteria are naturally found in the intestines, but stress and lifestyle can reduce their numbers, and therefore a dietary supplement may be necessary.
Canikur Pro contains the probiotic lactic acid bacterium Enterococcus faecium. Enterococcus faecium has the ability to survive passage through the stomach and adds beneficial intestinal bacteria to the intestine that improve and maintain the intestinal flora.
Prebiotics
The prebiotic yeast extract contained in Canikur Pro paste is called Bio-Mos®-C and is specially developed to stimulate the growth and activity of beneficial bacteria such as lactobacilli and bifidobacteria. At the same time, Bio-Mos®-C reduces the number of unwanted bacteria in the stomach.
Mineral clay
The mineral clay bentonite (with a high content of montmorillonite) binds toxins and viruses and thus removes them from the stomach. Montmorillonite thus helps to combat diarrhea and ensure a faster soothing effect on viral infections.
How is Canikur Pro used?
Canikur Pro is given twice daily, and the amount depends on the animal's weight (see dosage table).
Canikur Pro can be given directly into the mouth with the dosing syringe – or together with food.
Start with Canikur Pro at the first signs of diarrhea, and continue until the symptoms are completely gone. Canikur Pro can also be used as a preventative measure when there is an expected negative impact on the intestinal flora. In this case, it is recommended to give Canikur Pro the day before the stressful situation and one day after.
Do dogs and cats like the taste of Canikur Pro?
Most cats and dogs love the delicate vegetable taste of meat and will eat the paste straight from the syringe. If your dog or cat does not like eating Canikur Pro straight, try mixing the paste into your pet's regular food.
The setting dial
Canikur Pro comes in an easy-to-use syringe.
Simply set the dial to the desired amount and press down on the plunger to squirt out the paste.
The adjustment dial is positioned so that it is to the right of the correct amount (see image showing a dose of 10 ml).
Dosage guide
Canikur Pro is easy to dose with the practical dosing syringe and is dosed according to the animal's weight.
The dog and cat must have free access to drinking water throughout the treatment.
If the dog's or cat's condition has not clearly improved after 4 doses, or if the dog's or cat's general condition suddenly worsens, the veterinarian should be contacted.
