Facts about the breed

The Cane Corso is a classic Mastiff-type dog with a large, heavy, and muscular build. This Italian breed was used as a hunting dog, guard dog, and farm dog, and its name comes from the Latin word "cohors" which means "protector". They have a strong guarding instinct and are very territorial. With plenty of mental stimulation, exercise, and consistent training, they can become a great family dog suitable for shows and other dog sports. As a family dog, they are incredibly loyal and form strong bonds with their owners.

Farming and trade

If you wish to become the owner of a Cane Corso, you should make sure to find a reputable breeder. It is important to choose a seller who provides information about how the dog was bred, to ensure that you are not contributing to uncontrolled or illegal dog trading. Unfortunately, not everyone breeds responsibly and correctly, which can lead to serious diseases in the puppies. Being well-prepared and finding a reliable breeder is therefore the best for both you and the dog.
