Petosan® comes from a family with over 200 years of combined experience and innovation in oral hygiene. The company was founded in 1998 by Ole Barman, who continued the family's influence in the pet care industry. Petosan is known for its groundbreaking dental health tools for pets and is available in over 50 countries.

The Barman family began their work with oral hygiene in Norway in the 1920s, with Otto Barman and his wife Solveig introducing fluoride treatment in Norwegian schools. Their son, Rolf Barman, invented the double-sided toothbrush in 1977, an innovation that was patented by Oral B in 1984.

Today, Petosan is a global brand that promotes dental health for pets through its renowned 4-Step Program and Petosan Dental University, which educates pet owners about optimal dental care.
