Traveling with a dog

Traveling with your dog requires preparation, both mentally and practically. Are you going on vacation with your furry friend soon, or maybe you're moving? We give you tips on how to make the trip comfortable for both you and your dog.

This applies to walks, activities and other important tasks. Remember that there are many temptations on vacation that are not suitable for man's best friend, such as restaurant visits or excursions. If you are going on vacation, you should therefore clarify your expectations with yourself and your other travel companions. It is important that you do not stress too much when traveling with your dog , as your dog senses this very well.

Moving house with a dog

Just as your dog senses your travel fever, he also senses when you are stressed about the moving process. It may be a good idea to ask a friend or family member to look after your dog during the hectic moving period. Once you have settled into your new home, it is important that your dog also gets used to the new home. Set out the dog bed , keep an eye on it, and perhaps spend a few days at home with your dog before leaving him alone.
