ClotIt PET is an effective hemostatic treatment for minor wounds and bleeding in pets. ClotIt consists of two natural minerals that quickly coagulate the blood without staining the fur or other surfaces the animal comes into contact with. Instructions for use
For skin wounds
- Pour plenty of powder directly into the wound. The dog may feel a short-term stinging sensation (1 second), but will not feel anything after that.
- Place a sterile compress over the wound and apply moderate pressure for 10–20 seconds.
- Check if the bleeding has stopped, and repeat if necessary.
- Bandages over the powder without removing it.
For claw clips
- Fill the included red "cup" with powder and press it against the claw for 10–20 seconds.
- Repeat if necessary.
- Gently brush away excess powder afterwards.
